You can request deletion of your rekallme. account and saved content at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens when you do.
This is the quickest way:
You are signed out immediately and every device signed in as you is signed out too.
If you cannot get into the app — you have uninstalled it, lost the device, or cannot sign in — email support@rekallme.com from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my account.
We reply within 5 business days. We may need to confirm the request comes from you before acting on it, because a deletion carried out for the wrong person cannot be undone.
Your deletion request is held for 7 days before it is carried out. This is deliberate: deletion is permanent, and people change their minds. During that window you can cancel the request and pick up where you left off, with nothing lost.
The deletion runs, in this order:
Files first, then the account — that order matters, so nothing of yours is left behind holding a reference to an account that no longer exists. If any step fails, the request records why and is never marked complete; it is finished on the next run.
A small set of records survives deletion. None of it contains what you saved:

That is the only rekallme. record retained after deletion. Your consent records, your subscription records and the deletion request itself are all attached to your account and go with it.
Apple, Google and RevenueCat may keep purchase records under their own legal or service obligations. Crash reports, analytics events, backups and AI provider requests may also remain for limited periods under the relevant provider's terms. Before launch we will confirm those periods and state them in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your rekallme. account does not cancel an active app-store subscription; cancel it separately in your Apple or Google subscription settings to stop future renewal.
One thing we will not pretend about. When you saved a memory, its content was sent to our AI providers to be read. We do not send a deletion instruction to them afterwards — they offer no way to delete an individual person's past requests. We delete the account data we hold, except the audit log described above. We would rather tell you that than let you believe otherwise.
Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover anything afterwards. If you want to keep what you saved, export it before you delete: Settings → Data and Privacy → Export.
If you only want to remove something specific rather than your whole account, open it in the app and delete it there. It goes immediately, along with any file attached to it.
